Red lipstick stained the rim.
Emerald eyes shining bright
Although the lights were dim.
She sat there in the darkened room
In a low cut sequinned dress
All designed just to seduce him
Then get him to confess
She saw the door move slowly open

Blues vinyl records spinnin round the stylus

The body was discovered
Wrapped within a velvet curtain
The corpse, a mangled blood red hot mess

Nobody was certain.

Her hands cradling his face, his nails dug into her hips.
He fell back, heavily, in the chair.
All spinnin head and dizzy.
She reached for a length of rope and started getting busy.
Tying off the final knot, she breathed a little sigh.
